Adaptive reuse / Lexington, Kentucky / Spring 2026

School

Aluminum2Ale

Aluminum2Ale reimagines an existing warehouse in Lexington’s Distillery District as a mixed-use facility for aluminum recycling, can manufacturing, and public gathering. A bar and restaurant share the building with a working production environment, allowing visitors to observe the recycling process. The project connects industrial production and material reuse with an everyday community experience.
